History of the Cape Dress

Traditional Cape Dress Sizes Small to X-Large (up to size 20) $40.00 Over a Women's size 20 (Size 22 and over) $45.00 What is a 'Cape Dress?" Traditionally worn by the Amish and Conservative Mennonites, a 'Cape Dress' has an attached (in most cases) top 'cape' that covers a woman's bodice area and for extra modesty. Ideal for sheer fabrics! The Cape Dress made by Rachels' Seamstress Services has a 22" back zipper, elbow or full length sleeves, right side seam pocket, and rounded neckline. If ordering a size 22 Women's or over, an extra $5.00 will be charged. Your measurements are needed to make the dress. Please provide them below. Please note: Price below DOES NOT include fabric.

"Beth" Sizes Small to X-Large (up to size 20) $40.00 Over a Women's size 20 (Size 22 and over) $45.00 A squared neckline plain dress that is simple, yet elegant. The bodice is self-lined with bust darts in the front and waist darts in front and back, has a 22" back zipper, right side seam pocket, and long or short sleeves with elastic at the end to create a small ruffle, and a gathered skirt (sewn to the bodice). This basic design was created by Rachels' Seamstress Services. Please note: Price below DOES NOT include fabric.
