'Elizabeth' Misses/Ladies Sun Bonnet $18.00 + shipping A simple, yet so functional misses/ladies sun bonnet made in sizes Small, Med-Large and Extra-Large. Back of the 'Elizabeth' bonnet has drawstring ribbon ties, so that the wearer can adjust the crown to fit her head. Brim is made of a soft interfacing that will bend easily but still holds its shape. Matching front fabric ties are sewn on. All fabrics are made of polyester/cotton. 100% cotton is available by request. Charcoal Grey solid fabric is offered (for those of the Quaker faith). NEW! Medium Grey (Pewter) is now offered. Washing: It is recommended to hand wash in cool/cold water your Elizabeth sun bonnet. To dry, place on a round object to keep the shape of the bonnet. Basic Kapp Basic Kapp $15.00 + shipping Lisa of Rachels' wished for over a year to offer a simple and basic Kapp, it is now available! Original pattern used to make the 'Basic Kapp' originates from www.candleonthehill.net. Several alterations were made to the Traditional Vintage Covering and the result is beautiful. Based on the Kapp's of the Amish/Mennonite faith, the 'Basic Kapp' is a simple head covering that wears well under a outer bonnet or hat, or alone if you wish. Can be made in pleats (shown) or gathers. The brim measures 3 3/4" wide and 17" long which will fit a standard size ladies/misses head size and shape. Length can be made longer or shorter if you wish. Has ribbon ties that measure 18" long. Made in black Primalux or white Formtiste fabric (a crisp finish Batiste fabric).

Caroline Everyday Cap $15.00 + shipping The Caroline Everyday Cap is a full coverage cap that has adjustable back neck ties. Offered in a teen/small ladies size (brim is 16 1/2 inches long), a medium ladies size (brim is 17 1/2 inches long), a large ladies size (brim is 18 1/2 inches long) and a NEW SIZE...a ladies 'Hearty Large' (brim is 19 inches long). If ordering a Caroline Cap over 19 inches long, it is an extra-large size ($2.00 extra). You can choose either white satin, white or black grosgrain front ties. All ties are 1/4 inches wide. Laura Day 'Frill' Cap 15.00 + shipping A very feminine cap that is exclusive to Quaker Jane. Perfect for wearing under an outer bonnet or outer kerchief/shawl. Sewn into the front of the brim is a small ruffle, made out of the same fabric of cap. Offered in a teen/small ladies size (brim is 16 1/2 inches long), a medium ladies size (brim is 17 1/2 inches long), a large ladies size (brim is 18 1/2 inches long) and a NEW SIZE...a ladies 'Hearty Large' (brim is 19 inches long). Rebekah's (Civil War Era) Sun Bonnet for Teens & Ladies

I can hardly wait to make one for myself! The Rebekah Sun Bonnet is made from a double layer of high quality and soft cotton fabric and the brim is lined with one layer of cotton flannel. Cording is throughout the brim of the bonnet. I will start off with five rows of cording at the brim end, then space approx. 1" apart three rows. Extra rows of cording can be added, if desired.

This bonnet can be made in either a rounded brim (shown in picture) or a squared brim (picture soon forth-coming). The edge of the brim has fabric binding hand-sewn on. Some areas of this bonnet is hand-sewn. The 'bavolet' can be made in a 6", 7" or 8" length.

Back has ties in addition to the front ties, all made out of the same fabric as the bonnet.

Each bonnet is numbered for 'authenticity'. Truly a piece of art to be passed down to another generation.

Washing: Hand-wash preferred and highly recommended in mild soap and cool water. To dry, place on a rounded object and air dry.

The Rebekah Bonnet is beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice! You are right about how soft it is. I really like it. It should provide me the sun protection I need. Quaker Covering Cap $15.00 + shipping A traditional style 'Quaker' covering, based on an authentic pattern. Perfect for re-enactments, or for a full coverage prayer covering for yourself. Many ladies have purchased this covering for the specific purpose of their prayer time. Bottom of sides have a rounded appearance and cap has 2 1/2" wide brim at the top. Back of crown has a french seam and back neck area has adjustable ties, for a secure fit. Top stitching on brim can be done by hand if preferred, for a more authentic look. Please note that you wish for it to be done in the comments section. Can be made in black or white 'batiste' fabric and sizing is small/teen, medium and large. Please note: Rachels' makes the Quaker Covering Cap in a light-weight 'batiste' fabric. This cap does not look its best made in a heavier weight fabric. If you wish to have a cap made in another fabric, please let me know in the comments section.
