What is meant as 'Plain'?
When many people see this word defining a style of clothing, they tend to think of the Amish, Mennonite, Conservative Quakers and other Old Order 'Plain' Groups.
That is true, but not always the case.
Many Conservative Christians throughout the world (esp. in the U.S., United Kingdom and other industrialized countries) choose to dress in a manner that is simple and unadorning. It happens to resemble the clothing of the groups mentioned in the first paragraph.
As a plain dresser myself, I would choose no other way.
